A baby can be aborted at anything up to 24 weeks. A close friend of mine had a very much aware and alive baby boy at 24 weeks weighing 1lb 3oz. He is now one. So yes there IS brain function, nerve endings and a level of awareness in some abortion cases. I do not judge people who have abortions; I personally would never feel okay doing so but each person feels differently. I do however have an issue when people try and make themselves feels better about abortion by claiming that it is not a baby yet..in some cases, it has developed into a child that is capable of living outside of the womb. If the abortion limit was made to be a lot early in pregnancies then i would have no issue.
